Inter-Generational Behavior Differences:

We know that we don’t understand other societies well enough. But do we truly understand our own society? I doubt it because understanding the entire society requires knowing the inter-generational differences and the differences among classes.

Understanding life in different strata and experiencing it is crucial. However, even this is not enough because individuals may behave very differently within the same institution for various reasons. Understanding how the cogs turn in a society requires different experiences. How much do we really know about the mindset of a thief who has been to jail? How can we form an opinion about this segment without knowing such a person?

The changing behaviors across generations are influenced by many factors, especially the upbringing of recent generations with the use of the internet and smartphones. Those who grew up in the 1990s, immersed in the internet, undoubtedly experienced a significant global transformation at a young age. Similarly, those who grew up from the 2010s onwards, with the widespread use of smartphones, developed their talents and lived through their childhood and adolescence.

It’s possible that people from the same generation in two different countries can understand each other better than two individuals from different generations within the same society… That’s why we distinguish generations based on these criteria.
